First school Meeting with Community on July 8, 2012.

This is Andrew leading the meeting...How about that.
It was a blessing day to be with my community. In the meeting, 60 people came and attend the meeting. In the meeting, there were two chiefs, sub-chief, uncle Agangwa a Member of Parliament (MP) in our western Equatorial state. In addition, pastors, teachers, local traders, students, elders, and housemothers.
They were excited to hear about the school plan I brought before them. They were amazed to hear from me as their own son that I am coming back to teach them. I told the community about the story my dad told me when I was small boy about hunting. My dad said, "Andrew! When you go hunt, kill a big animal so that every village people could eat." I told them that, my education in the United State is like a big animal. I want to bring it home. During the war in Sudan while in the jungle, when my dad kill a big animal, he would take us to dress the meat in the forest then divide the meat to all the village people who are close to our house so that they could enjoy with us.
As meeting was still going on, one of the chief said, "he has many words to speak, but he has just few. Since he was born, no child among the all children in our community went to school and come back to stay with his community. None of them come back with an idea to start a school and educate his people. Hear my word community, we need to support our son Andrew as much as we can. We need to do our part to show we can."
Elder Bendera asked a question, "whose school is this we are talking about? Is it community school or our school? If it’s our school, we need to give ourselves to do the work. The reason I asked a ask question because our people are not active in community work." I answered him that, its is our school. I explain how I begin to record a CD/ print a T-shirt here in the United States and sell them to raise fund for building the school back home. I told them that this is our school. However, here is what I want to let all the community know: this is all about God, not me. So, I don't want some one to worry God is able.
